Where is your business located?
PURICA is a natural supplement company that formulates and manufactures their products a couple hours south of Campbell River in Duncan, BC.
What are the products that you create/grow?
PURICA is proud to say they have been working with Healthyway Natural Foods for over 15 years. Over two decades ago PURICA launched its first product - Recovery® - and since then many people across Canada have become familiar with this product whether it is the human, pet or equine version.
How long have you been in business?
Since the humble beginnings in 1999, PURICA has grown to offer a variety of products for human, pets and horses. And 17 years ago marked the point that PURICA began to offer medicinal mushroom products.
What was your inspiration for starting your business?
The PURICA slogan – Nature. Science. You. – encompasses the goals and ethos of the company; and that is, respecting and embracing what nature has to offer, applying modern science, and providing you with effective products that are designed to reduce stress on the body and support you on your journey to good health.
Why is supporting local important to you?
As a family owned business, PURICA would like to take this opportunity to thank the Vancouver Island community, as well as all of British Columbia and Canada, for their support over the decades.
